Happy Valentine's Day



Okay, so I'm a day late. Look at the beautiful blooms DH gave me. He also made me dinner, even though we'd agreed we weren't doing anything special - how lucky am I?!

In knitting news I started this last week:


I'm using Blue Sky Alpacas in Sportweight, but started out with a little scrap I had left over from the bunny and have finished it, so I desperately need to get enough to complete this, otherwise I'll be starting again with a new yarn. That means a trip to Stash next Saturday - any excuse, heh?!

I like your blog! Just reading through the last few posts - there's already plenty in common. I have my eye on the Fetching mitts - I love how yours turned out. Sounds like you have your eye on Curlicue - which I really enjoyed making a few months ago.

AND you recently caved in to the swift/ball-winder urge. I'm still drooling over mine.

AND you live in London, where I used to love to live.

AND you have family in the North East of Scotland - my Bidie-in's from Aberdeen, where we visit all the fam.

AND your houseplants die in your care, just like mine do.
